Top Things To Know About Romantic Relationships Of Indigo Children

Indigo children are undoubtedly different from the rest of the world – in a good way. Indigo children and adults possess special traits, sometimes unusual abilities that other children or adults do not have. This is why most parents struggle when other people call their children strange.

Nothing could be further from the truth. There is something beautiful about Indigo children, and there is nothing more beautiful to watch that two Indigos falling head-over-heels in love with each other. However, is this always a good idea? Read on to find out more.

The Ups and Advantages of Romantic Relationships

Passionate lovers

Indigo children love passionately and fiercely, no holds barred because by nature they are more sensitive and empathetic to the needs of others. This explains why when two Indigos are falling in love, their emotions may be very elevated and it can be a very exciting stage for all involved.

Caring and sensitive

Sensitivity is part and parcel of being an Indigo child. Being loved by an Indigo can be a very fulfilling thing. An Indigo relationship is very beautiful to observe because of the caring nature of both parties.

The Downs and Disadvantages of Romantic Relationships

Sometimes it’s better NOT to date

Sometimes Indigo children are mistaken in that they think they should only date other Indigo children. It doesn’t have to necessarily be like that. Relationship expert Chelsea Autumn believes that Indigo children should not date because sometimes the romantic, physical, psychological and spiritual connection is too intense and the relationship will not work.

Failure to set boundaries

Indigo children have to learn to set boundaries in the relationship. Like any other relationship, Indigo children may want to explore everything too fast. However, just because someone is also an Indigo doesn’t mean they are your soul mate. Indigo children need to take it slow and get to know the other person in every context.

Losing yourself is easy

Relationship experts such as Chelsea Autumn also proceed to caution Indigo Children that dating a fellow Indigo child may lead to a loss of self because of the intensity of the connection shared by the children. While this connection can be an awesome experience, it’s important to stay grounded and not let the feelings take control of your life. In cases like this, it’s not unusual to hear that people got married impulsively on a whim. You also find that after some time, the passionate feelings begin to fade and many Indigo children begin to feel a sense of loss and have identity crisis issue. This is all because they lost themselves in the height of their relationship.

Conclusion

At the end of the day, no one can really tell an Indigo child what to do. Perhaps that other Indigo they wish to date is actually their soul mate and they are meant to be together. Furthermore, there is no data to prove whether Indigo children have better relationships than other people. All that can be done is to enter every relationship with an open mind and see where the relationship goes.
